Found ourselves at The Wok as our “go to” Chinese place in Hollister a block away is closed Saturday for lunch. WOW! How fortunate for us!! The food is great! Fresh, authentic, delicious. The place is clearly a local “hole in the wall “ as described, but is incredibly clean and the people are lovely. The portions are huge and the prices are great. Though it was lunchtime, we had the family dinner with the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken etc. WHAT A DEAL! My husband and I (BIG EATERS) ate till we were full and STILL will have a GREAT dinner tomorrow with the leftovers. I only rarely post, but had to because ASK YOURSELVES: If you were made sick by a restaurant, would you take photos/document/reach out to Public Health, or write a review on Google? I would ask everyone PLEASE, if you have a terrible dining experience, take the appropriate steps to help us all…Think twice about whether everything you read is true. I hate to see GREAT places hurt by the review process.
